Step 1:
Open the Google Chrome browser on your Android smartphone.

Now open the Experimental Flags page in Chrome. To do this, in the address bar, type the following: chrome: // flash
Step 3:
On Chrome’s Experimental Flags page, search for “Start Surface” and tap it.
Step 4:
From the list of available options, select “Enabled Single Surface V2 Finale”.
Step 5:
After making this change, look for another flag called “Tab Grid Layout” and then tap it to access the options and select “Enabled without automatic grouping”.
Step 6:
Now click on “Restart” button which is located at the bottom. Or you can choose to restart the browser manually. That’s it. You will now get the “Open in New Tab” option back in the Chrome web browser on your Android smartphone. Note that this will not disable or remove the “Open in a new tab group” option.
