1. Steps to Snooze Someone’s Facebook Feed for 30 Days
Snooze updates temporarily pauses your Facebook contact’s updates. It can be really helpful if you have annoying friends that you know will be extra active for the next few days, be it an international vacation or something else.
The snooze feature lets you hide someone’s message for 30 days. If you want it for a shorter period, it can be started with the Snooze button, but you have to terminate it manually. Step 1: The first step here is to go to your Facebook timeline and find a post from someone you want to hide from your timeline. Look for the down arrow on that message button located on the right. Tap it to continue.
Step 2: From the following pop-up, select the Snooze option. By selecting, you choose not to receive updates from that person for the next 30 days.
Step 3: Once snoozed, the only way to see a feed from that person is to go to their timeline. Visit their Facebook profile to get updates from them again. You’ll see the Snoozed icon on their profile. Tap it button continue.
Step 4: A bang-up is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Here you can see the remaining days for an active snooze on that person’s profile. To turn it off, select the End Snooze option and that person’s feeds will reappear on your timeline.
Okay, that basically takes care of the folks who aren’t naturally spammy but tend to post a lot of updates sporadically. However, there are those who just can’t do anything without posting an update to Facebook. We have an even better solution for such people.
2. Steps to Permanently Hide Someone’s Feed on Facebook
While this method is not new, it is quite simple and extremely effective against annoying people. Once enabled, you will never again receive an update from that person on your Facebook timeline or even a notification about what happens at the end.
So be careful as I personally feel this method is only useful against people whose posts are extremely annoying. Here’s how you do it. Step 1: The first thing to do is to find the person whose feed or posts you want to hide from your Facebook timeline. Visit your friends list on Facebook and find the person. Once you’ve identified him or her, select the three-dot menu button right next to their profile.
Step 2: A bang-up should appear on your screen. There, choose the Unfollow option. That’s all you need to do to hide someone on your Facebook.
Step 3: There are times when you feel the need to get updates again from a person you previously blocked. To reenable their feed, visit their profile page. There you will see the Follow buttonTap it to continue.

A Snooze-y New Feature
Facebook is the most popular social network, and for obvious reasons. Their foresight keeps them ahead of the curve and the new Snooze feature is a great example. While the option to permanently unfollow someone was already there, the addition of a temporary snooze really makes sense.
It’s like taking a break from someone or something and there is nothing bad about it. While you can forget about it after permanently hiding someone, Facebook will send you a notification when the snooze time is about to end.
