The new SteelSeries Arctis 7+ Wireless looks very similar to the old SteelSeries Arctis 7, which makes sense considering the entire Arctis lineup hasn’t really changed its look. The headphones feature the same Airweave fabric ear cushions as almost all previous Arctis headsets, and they’re still soft, breathable, and very flexible. The headset has a number of standard controls on the ear. The volume control and microphone mute button are on the back of the left headset, alongside a USB-C charging port, 3.5mm jack, and proprietary plug connector. It’s very comfortable, which means longer gaming sessions are easily manageable. The headset’s impressive battery life means you can play quite a few games before needing to charge it.The headset handles the audio requirements of a game like Valorant on PC very well, and the spatial sound of SteelSeries Sonar makes things like footsteps easier to locate. The Valorant EQ profile available in Sonar is also very helpful, as it pretty much removes all bass from the headset’s audio output, making different sounds easier to hear in certain situations. The SteelSeries Arctis 7+ Wireless has the same connectivity options as the older Arctis 7, with one very significant difference. While both headsets primarily use a 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle to connect to your device of choice, the Arctis 7+ Wireless uses a USB-C connection like the Arctis 7P and Arctis 1 Wireless do.
