Compared with the predecessor, Samsung’s phone has become a bit more compact, as the screen has also become a bit smaller. The storage capacity remains the same, but there is no longer microSD support. The S21 FE looks very similar to the Galaxy S21 with the contour-cut camera module, but there are small changes. The case around the camera is plastic, the display is flat, has a thin metal frame, and the plastic back blends seamlessly into a camera island. The back has a soft matte finish and is made of plastic. It doesn’t feel cheap, but it’s not a wipe-clean magnet either. It should be noted that no protective cover is included, and due to the slippery back, the use of a cover is recommended. The Galaxy S21 FE is designed for fans of all kinds and is available in a range of attractive colors, including white, lavender, graphite and olive. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge of the smartphone, the USB Type-C port, primary microphone, speaker grille, and hybrid dual-SIM slot are on the bottom, the secondary microphone is on the top, and the left side is blank. The Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch FULL HD+ Super AMOLED display (2400 x 1080 pixels) with support for 120 Hz refresh rate and a centered notch for the 32 MP front camera. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Unlike the S20FE, the S21 FE has evenly thin edges on all sides. The display can be set to a refresh rate of 60 Hz (standard) or 120 Hz (high), although adaptive refresh rate is not supported.
